I'm debating letting my Tech 21 XXLB go... Maybe the OM and possibly the Submarine.

Every time I turn around lately there's another pedal calling my name. But it looks like I'll be retiring a few pedals myself soon.....I've picked up some in the past month or so that just fit so well.

If you lose the XXLB, the OM and submarine and add the hummingbird, noisebox and P&C, your board would have 2 trems and 4 "filters" (using that term loosely, of course). BONKERS! Not that there's anything wrong with BONKERS boards.

If it was my board, I would loose the bassballs, the OM or micropog, and the pulsar and add the hummingbird and noisebox or P&C.

Obviously, that's my opinion, and it should have little to no bearing on your final decision, as I don't know what exact sounds you're going for and how you plan to get them. Just idle chatter.

Those are some really nice boards you have there, a G5 and EHX BMS on one board, that's just awesome. Do you notice and degradation to you dry signal/volume loss with the DL-4?

Thanks, I have put DL-4 in a true bypass loop (between boards) because of signal loss. All of my modulation pedals are also in that loop. G5 and BMS are both great. I have also Deep Impact but haven`t used it outside studio for years

Played a few notes in the slow mode, then flipped the toggle to fast and twiddled the rate knob. Back to slow and more twiddling.

Keep in mind the mp3 format really squashes the hell out of the sample, as such, it doesn't do justice to the pedal.

I'm off to see Eddie Izzard now...

Finally finished the layout for Gen2 of my bass board and started assembly today....Not much to look at at the moment but it'll be 32"x20", four tiers high when it's finished.

Wish me luck.

Wow! Those clips of the Hummingbird just floored me. That's friggin awesome.

Yeah, I know....Originally it was going to be 36" but I made a mockup and 36" was just too long to do a sweep with one foot. The four tiers isn't a problem though and it'll only be an inch or so taller than the last one because the tiers are stacked a little better on this one.

And it'll be a lot lighter.

What about when the DL-4 is on, does your dry signal have a volume loss?

I haven`t recognized any volume loss when DL-4 is on. It just had crappy bypass and its switches were not reliable.

AND Hummingbird sounds fantastico!
...and my TR-2 is so lame.
