Wow... 3 Words, Bro.

Bass Pod Live

TAKE THAT BACK :p

bass pod can't sound like that...

+1 Billion! The POD would seem like a really annoying kiddie toy after using that (apparently) stereo setup. And yes, that comment applies to the X3, and its stereoness.

I got the fulldrive from a TB member *L*

I wanted something that could do milder grit than the Hema, which the Fulldrive does well!

Awesome :D I guess you can never have too much drive...

On a side note: I've actually been gassing a lot less lately. I don't know whether its cus I've been studying Taoism, or just that im finding that the equipment I have (except my amp :o) is extremely versatile for the applications I want. I totally went from a midrange rock type thing and using my Goat as a guitar-sim, to a really bass intensive stoner sound and using my goat to add some extra grit and make the sound a little more "open" than just the hema alone.

The only pedal I haven't quite settled on is the PH-3. Its got some cool sounds, but I haven't quite found any "usable" ones yet. Im really loath to give it up cus of the fall mode tho.... I just gotta find a setting thats a little more trippy...

Just got the PT-2. I have a loop for the moog on the way and the two gaps will be filled with an Octavus Squeezer and a Korg DT-10, the 442 will probably be replaced with an Earthquake Devices Hummingbird. As I've said before I will eventually upgrade the cables, just want to get everything else first.

Nice board! How do you like the Octron? I really want to get an Octron2.

Dude, for real! Even back in the comics, I never remember, in any of the Joker's incarnations and explanation for that, I was kind so excited when I heard for the first time, because some of my nerd thirst was quenched, then when I heard him tell it in a different way, I was really disappointed.

Gonna flash the nerd card a bit here. The Joker's origin is supposed to be mired in mystery--he himself has given numerous versions of it over the many, many years of publication, and I found this to be a deft interpretation of that element of the character--he is much more disturbing, in my view, when you don't have any idea from whence his psychosis was born. In fact, even the version portrayed in Batman circa 1989, is just an interpolation of one of the many possible origins, as seen in The Killing Joke. And to maintain it within the confines of the film, he embodies chaos, and to put a definitive point of origin on that is to water it down.

Sorry for the continued derailment.

Nice post man.

This is what I was saying, no incarnation of the Joker in all the years of my reading explained his appearance. And I agree that it certainly furthers the character to have his origin shrouded, but the movie explaining it just whetted that part of me that always wondered, and then my hopes were dashed, and I came to the same conclusion that you did, that it was a very deft hand played by Mr. Nolan as a personification of the fact that he isn't anything, except for chaos incarnate.

I swear, I'm done:ninja:

when you replace the 442 let me know i am interested!!!

It's really nice. Lovely natural sound sub octave, and a great upper octave fuzz. It sounds amazing putting my BJF Blueberry into the Octron with just the lower octave and direct knobs at unity, a really nice dirty octave sound.

I'm afraid I'll be putting it on another board that I plan on making. Sorry!:)

I had a PH-3 and ran into a similar problem. It almost has too much. I loved too many settings to keep it on one, but changing between them in a live environment isn't practical.

I made the red pedal. It is a A/B input/Effects Loop pedal. I have two inputs so that I can have two basses hooked up at all times. The right stomp switch selects between them with an LED for each. The left stomp switch activates the Effects loop. When off it is true bypass. The little toggle switch activates a feedback feature by cycling your note through the effects loop over and over. With the round knob you can increase the cyclical sound and all the way up it makes screaming noise. I am pretty proud of this little pedal as it is the first one I made. It is also an original design as I added two different pedal schematics together.

nice setup.....btw how's the boss volume pedal ? did it suck some tone or not ? thanx and cheers

ive been ranting and raving on these boards about how much i love my boss volume. ive had the 250k and 25k ernie ball volumes, and the new visual volume as well as an older dod volume. this boss is BOSS!

the treadle is comfortable and smooth, the volume swell is uniform (the ernie ball was not) and the features are beyond most other volume pedals - tuner out AND minimum volume knob. to be honest the tone loss is the eqivalent of the ernie ball - barely any, not enough to even consider really. micro loss. this pedal seems to get bad reviews but i am a volume enthusiest and love mine - plus at 75$ NEW its a great deal.

hope that helps. BTW i mostly use mine for volume control and smooth horn and string like swells.
