Those two are actually two of my finalists for the fuzz I'm getting, those and the LBM. What are the pros and cons of each one of them?

Rickenboogie, the Tonebender is a great pedal. Keeps the low end and has a unique fuzz. The Supericollider is in the lead of winning the board right now because of its multiversity over the Tonebender but I do have a passion for the Tonebender still.

DONT GET A SYB-5, they track horribly!!! a complete waste of money!!!!!! seriously!!!

would you say a ehx bass micro synth is better?

the shop is getting a bunch of different pedals re stocked and i'm after a synth of some description and those are the only 2 synth pedals they're getting

EH BMS is totally different beast than SYB-5 but IMO BMS is at least 100 times better. If you are going to buy BMS make sure that you get new XO-series version.

are the features any different between the XO-series and the not XO-series?

XO got true bypass, the original got a really crappy bypass.
The led indicates effect on now, not just a power indicator.

That's the only one I've noticed (well, except size obviously). Sounds the same.

thats an old meatbox. its an octaver of sorts. But you felt the octave more than heard it.

That seems really cool. I love old DOD pedals especially the Punkifier, I just can't find any of the good ones anywhere.

I had one wayyyy back. it wass pretty cool. made the dod envelope filter funkier sounding. those early 90's dod pedals...some interesting ideas for sure.

Also Crapusername, how do you like the weeping demon and hyperdrive? Especially the Weeping Demon as I'm more in the market for a wah then another distortion and taht one caught my eye.

the meatbox is a subharmonic generator. it generates sounds at two fixed frequencies, so an octave effect doesn't really describe it - although gets close.
the Hyperdrive is awesome, i run it all of the time, it adds anything from a little 'hair' to the signal (which is how i use it), to full on drive sounds and a decent blend control too to add just the right amount!.
As for the Weeping Demon, i absolutely love it. With the HM2 and blowtorch, i can get all kinds of cliff type screams and swells. I don't use it without the fuzzes, but YMMV.
i have to say that it's probably the most versatile wah i have ever used, since almost everything is adjustable. It is also switchable between auto mode (step on to activate), and a more traditional wah mode (push the footswitch to the right of the treadle to activate)
i seriously recommend it for bass, and if mine were pinched i would replace it straight away.

So would the meatbox and EH knockout be quite similar?

tbh Judas, i've never tried the knockout, but from the demos i've heard, they are totally different beasts.
the meatbox IIRC generates signals at 30 and 60 Hz. (i'm certain someone will correct me if that's incorrect!)
the knockout manipulates sounds at audible levels, in a similar way to an eq from what i understand of it.(again, someone correct me here!)

The Knockout is essentially two finely tweaked tone circuits - a high and and a low - along with a dry control. It allows for dramatic manipulation of your tone, similar to an EQ, but the results are different than what you can achieve with a conventional EQ.

The Meatbox is something entirely different and has nothing to do with the above, AFAIK.

Meatbox seems quite interesting. Bought Knockout couple of days ago. Didn`t find any use for hi-knob but low (85 Hz and below) gives me really massive sub bass. Now all I want is to play with that through PA.
