Post Your Pedalboard - Part I

I don't use this set up regularly. All depends on the gig but I do have a lot of fun with it when I do. There seems top be an issue with the compressor. Its a bit noisy. Almost like swithc is acting up with a sound similar to a battery dieing. But I'm nost using the battery.

Similarly the Holy Grail can be noisy/distortred on the low notes when running in line with bass to the amp but just fine when using the parallel loop on the iAMP.

Any suggestions on order of pedals would be appreciated. Currently it is:

Pederson Tuner
Punch Factory
Cry Baby
Bass Balls
Holy Grail
Q Tron.

That could easily be a great guitar board with a few turns of the knobs!

My own board's fairly guitar-compatible too, except for my Sansamp Bass Driver DI. But even that can be adjusted for guitar with a little work :D

Ha ha! yeah, just bough the CNB today! its nice for the price, just had to buy better velcro...

i wouldn't mind trying a
Dennis-Behringer HeavyscreamerBOBmetaldiscomtubeoctavecustard!:D

Heheh... even I've got a CNB board!

It's popular because it's cheap :)

But yeah, the stock hook tape sucks. I bought industrial-grade Velcro hook tape instead. Nothing beats the real thing!

One thing I don't like about the board is the edge clearance. I don't like the fact that I have to leave some space just to plug my instrument and amp cables in.

After my next paycheck, I think I'm going to invest in a Pedaltrain 2. After I upgrade my amp setup, of course.

Yeah, i was even thinking about doing something crazy, like drill some holes in the side of the board and wire in some jacks, if i get bored and have lots of spare time. which luckily is not likely to happen!:D

Here they are pictured with a Pedal Python OBBM made to my exact specs, basically its 2 20ft instrument leads and 1 20ft XLR lead all sealed in a binding works really well at keeping stage clutter down.

The pedals run in this order

Tonefactor Huckleberry - Crowther XLF Bluesberry Hotcake - Digitech BSW - Tonefactor 442 Filter - Analogman Mini Chorus Clone - EBS Multi Comp - Xotic BB Bass preamp - Tonefactor Hellbaby Boost - MXR M-80 EQ/DI

All wired with George L's and power by a Diago Brick and 2 Onespot daisy chains

Enjoy

Hey Tayste,

Nice board! Wish I had the money for such an analogman chorus :)

How are you using your Xotic BB preamp? As overdrive like everybody else (it seems)

If you're using it for overdrive tone, will you please us by recording a few soundclips of it? I'd really like to hear that thing. Just if you've got the time / gear to record.

Thanks in advance :)
