Spacy/trippy/stoner type moments. Well, and for the "whump-whump-whump" effect as well.

I really don't think it matters what the tuner looks like. It could be hot pink for all I care, it's true bypass, fast, easy to read and follows in real time (I drop tuned my B string to prove this). Plus I can daisy chain off of it. For $90 CAD that tuner just saved me $200 on a power supply!

I bought that planet waves tuner about 2 months ago in a local shop. I sadly traded it back in for a rack tuner when i needed the space on my board for a new delay. I enjoyed it more than the tu-2, but it is rather heavy. If you don't want the tu-2, korg dt-10 or any of the other 'standard' pedal tuners, it is worth a shot.

Just added the echo park (on sale!!) and the EVH phase 90.

I still dont know about the echo park...upon initial testing with just it in the signal path and having a seperate power source, it sounded great, using it with the one spot daisy chain did create noise, so Ill have to end up getting another one spot if I decide to keep it. but when I put it on the board Im getting a digital noise only on the delays, and it's particularly present when I switch from one mode (tape, digital, analog) to the other for 20 seconds or so, then its less present but still there. and even happened when I just plugged the one spot directly into the EP...Im hoping Im just crazy and I didnt really hear that hah. the EVH phase 90 is probably my favorite pedal aside from the real tube which I have set for just BARELY breaking up at my loudest peaks...I put a NOS RCA clear top 12au7 which gives me killer clean tone! not too crazy about the overdriven tone though, but I dont use it for that

Im saving up for an mxr micro amp...right now Im using the bass equalizer for boosting, but its kind of hard to get the right amount of gain that I want with it + it seems to alter the tone even when set flat

You may not be crazy... though I haven't used Line 6 stompers myself so I don't know for sure, but I've read that they like their own individual power supply and using one in a power supply chain can add noise. Though I wouldn't expect to be noisy if you have the one spot plugged directly into it without a daisy chain. Hmmm...

I like the Octabass, I have no complaints. Tracking works out just fine, and it has three positions which all seem pretty good (high, mid, and low). I don't use it enough to justify the purchase though. I need to figure out how to use it more often. What are you all using your octave pedals for?

I basically never use the multidrive. I got it before I bought my EBS HD-350. That head has the tube section of this pedal already built in, and I always use that. I dial in "drive" to about 10:00 for some mild tube warmth. Now that I switched to using a BBE pre and Crest poweramp, I might use it more often. I definitely wouldn't call it a distortion though, it is an overdrive and can only get some mild grit going on, from what little I have tried to do with it.
