Yes, the pedals are velcroed. Just get some good industrial 1" velcro at a crafts shop--or home depot has a huge pack of something I'm sure.

The actual board is bolted in by one bolt in the middle, with the nut on bottom of the case epoxied in to keep it secure. When the cover is mounted, that adds more than enough protection to keep anything from either moving or getting damaged in transit.

that's the full signal chain, as of now. (i occasionally run a 2001 MIA fretless jazz, too.)
i've gone through many effects, and i may still change a thing or two (like ya do), but these effects all ROCK. the only thing i'm looking for is a chorus now (still). i received a peavey BAC2 from ebay, but it didn't work properly. still looking into one of those. i've got a boss CE2B and a random cheap aria chorus/flange on the way... we'll see. i really want to get a maxon CS9 pro or CS550.... all the maxon i've heard so far has been uber-impressive, and i've heard nothing but good about these choruses.

(by the way, the vodkamodded phase 90 is quite nice! it's a subtle difference, but it's there... makes the phasing smoother and a little creamier. and no clipping from a hot input! :) another thing: mike at vodkamods.com is a fantastic person. we had a little issue with a pedal getting lost in the USPS shuffle... mike made it all better by sending me a brand-spanking new one! awesome.)

If those were my pedals I would set them up as following (but the best is usually to experiment to see what sounds best).

Boss LMB-3 > Tech 21 > TBD > Amp. Now in the feedback loop of the TBD I would set up as follows PS-5 > EHX Micro Synth > EHX Tube Zip > ODB-3 > HM-2 > Turbo Flange > Ring Mod > Echo Park.

Ok now as to why? The LMB and Tech 21 are more of natural sound/preamp pedals (usually) So I would keep those out of the feedback look since they wouldn't effect it much anyways. Inside the loop putting Pitch altering effects before distortion works best since the distortion helps hide the digital sound of the fake note. I personally like a synth and wah/filter's before distortion because then you can add more gain onto them. The Distortion section I always set up in increasing gain order so you can layer multiple pedals ontop of eachother without decreasing your output/gain. Modulation is a matter of taste for some people, personally like like flanger and chorus post distortion and phasers before. See what sounds best for you. Delay goes last because then you can delay everything, and if you use it for looping you also loop the effects.

I appologize if you were just looking for how to set them up in the loop, I kinda got carried away talking about stuff.

(on a side note I picked up a PS-5 and Turbo Flange recently. I havn't had full experiance with them yet, but so far its been fun).

EDIT: Finally got a photo in! I've attached it to this post. I used my normally non-working camera... it decided to work today :D

Here's my current signal chain. Read from RIGHT to LEFT (just follow the flow from bass to amp!):

AMP <= Planet Waves CT-04 Tuner Pedal <= SansAmp Programmable BDDI <= Aphex Punch Factory <= EHX Little Big Muff <= Morley Power Wah (Reissue) <= BASS

It's all set up on a Pedaltrain 2, with a OneSpot power supply.

I plan to put an Electro-Harmonix Stereo Clone Theory between the Punch Factory and the Muff once I can find one (They're out this month, right? Haven't seen one in a store yet...). Overall, I'm satisfied with my board. Simple, yet flexible enough for my needs.

The metal zone I only use as a Lo-fi distortion, kill the bass and tweak the mids a bit; play powerchords and it sounds like a heavy metal guitarist play through an old radio.

The Turbo overdrive I use as a booster for either the ODB-3 or the Muff(or both).
(add the OC-2 to this and you've got youreself a bombastic DOOMsound!)


keep in mind that I use my effects in a project with only a drummer and me. and we play experimental(hard)rockishmetaljazz. and i use them to create an other dimention to my bass as if we were playing with a guitarist.. but we're NOT
