Hi everyone! This is my first post here. Mine is: Electro-Harmonix The Clone Theory ----> Ibanez SB7 Bass Synthesizer ----> Boss Bass Chorus CEB-3 ----> Boss Digital Reverb/Delay RV-3----> Ibanez Bass Compressor BP10 ----> Nobels Bass Overdrive OBR-B ----> Arion Stage Tuner HU-8550

The metal zone I only use as a Lo-fi distortion, kill the bass and tweak the mids a bit; play powerchords and it sounds like a heavy metal guitarist play through an old radio.

The Turbo overdrive I use as a booster for either the ODB-3 or the Muff(or both).
(add the OC-2 to this and you've got youreself a bombastic DOOMsound!)

keep in mind that I use my effects in a project with only a drummer and me. and we play experimental(hard)rockishmetaljazz. and i use them to create an other dimention to my bass as if we were playing with a guitarist.. but we're NOT

I just started on a totally ripped off version of Wabbit's board! It's in progress right now and I'll try to get some pics up when it's done.

I've got a question as far as order goes though - I've noticed a few guys with the tuner last in the chain. Why's that? I would have thought it would be better first? But I have nothing to base that opinion on though!

Some guys might use it as a mute. I put my tuner at the start but thats cuz I got a volume pedal to mute everything further down the chain.

Nah doesn't really matter on placement I s'pose. If you ran multiple distortion or fuzzes and a chorus, it might just be easier to mute with a tuner for a quiet part rather than stomp on three or more pedals. I don't really know.

If your tuner is the first in the chain, then if it's muted, doesn't
it kill all sound for the entire chain? Isn't that the desired
effect of muting?

That's how I use mine.

I don't use those, so I guess I'm a little ignorant about some
of this pedal stuff. My set-up is pretty stripped down.

Definitely an FX loop of some kind I would have thought. Pretty rare for what looks like a handmade box to have stereo ins and outs...
