Post Your Pedalboard - Part I

My setup consists of:

1: DOD Bass 30 (Strictly for compression)
2: Boss ODB-3
3: Dunlop Crybaby (To be replaced with Crybaby Q Zone)
4: DBX 215 Dual 15-Band Graphic Equalizer
4: DOD Bass Overdrive
5: Danelectro Tremolo
5: Ibanez CF7
5: Boss PH-3
5: Boss BF-3
5: Digitech RP100 (Strictly for delays)
6: Axess GRX4 Guitar Router/Switcher
6: Behringer Midi Foot Controller

The sound, from the guitar, always goes through 1.

Then it is foot-switchable (via MIDI controller and the GRX4) through 2. This is my main distortion.

Then it is foot-switchable through 3. This produces a low-cut, guitar-like sound for playing chords and such.

Then it is foot-switchable though the the DBX Equalizer, letting me choose between my normal sound and a high-cut sound (to sound more like an acoustic bass). The normal sound also goes through the DOD overdrive for slight sharpness.

Then it is foot-switchable through 5 (all at once), this is essentially my effects loop. I would've made each pedal individually switchable, but I'd need another GRX4.

Finally, the signal hits my amp. Pretty deadly setup huh? It's a pain to manage

...plus a pedal with an upsidedown American flag on it.

I have to make this clear just for sure.

The sticker of Old Glory on my stomper (tuner) is NOT a statement of any kind. It was just a joke by friend of mine, and me so I hope that any of you fellow bassists didn't get offended by it.

I you did I apologize it.

...But maybe there should be a pic of that George W. fellow ;)

Way back in colonial times, before radios and the internets, ships in distress would hang their flags upside-down to alert fellow ships. (Pirates also did this to lure prey). Leave it to Rage to use what used to be a generally innocuous symbol as a rebel statement. Now, if ships see the upside-down flag, they'll just think it's a ship full of Rage fans and sail on.

Do whatcha do, man, It doesn't bother me.

A couple of pedals have been added! From bass to amp:

My effects:

Bass> EH Q-Tron> Digitech Bass Synth Wah> Danelectro Fab Tone> Digitech Bass Driver> Digitech Bass Squeeze> Digitech DigiDelay> amp.

I'm not a huge fan of the Digitech pedals, but they sound decent and I bought them all at the same time at a good price. I also have a Bass Multi Chorus, which I dig, but I'm letting my guitar player use it. My fave is the Q-Tron- funk-o-licious!

Im interested to why you dont use the compressor at the start of your f/x chain, always thought compression should go there.
Have you tried it at the beginning to see what it sounded like ??
