O.K., I'll throw this back up:

Since the picture's been taken, I've added a Holy Grail Reverb + Behringer BDI21 and taken the BSW & Ibby compressor out of the chain. I'm waiting on an Ibby SB7 to arrive by the week's end. I remember digging it more than the BSW (for synth sounds) when trying it a little while ago so we'll see how long that stays. I'm also hunting down a booster pedal & Line 6 FM4 as I write this. I'll throw an updated pic up in the near future.

Nice setup. How are you digging the Rotary Phaser? I've been fiending for one of those for a while now.

Bass --> CT-04 Tuner --> Ashdown Dual Band Compressor --> Ashdown Drive Plus --> (Boss NS-2 Loop: NS-2 --> 2 Channel Loooper --> Channel 1 = Ibanez SB7 Synth; Channel 2 = Ibanez PD7 Phat Hed --> Ibanez BS10 Bass Stack; --> NS-2) --> Ibanez BC10 Chorus --> Sansamp BDDI --> Ashdown MAG300

Powered by a Godlyke Power-All and daisy chained off the CT-04 (no batteries).

Thanks. My carpenter friend built it for me. You can't tell from the photo but it sits on the floor at an angle. I basically used the dimensions of the Tonebone Boneyard by Radial Engineering.

The BS10 Bass stack is an older OD/distortion pedal from the 80's. I just picked it up. It produces a much different kind of sound than the Drive Plus, the PD7 or the BDDI. So far, I really like it in combination with the BDDI. If I bias the BDDI toward the low end and then dial up just a little bit of drive on the BS10 it adds some top end bite. I get a perfect blend of both grunt and grind this way. Think Dave Schools of Widespread Panic on the studio version of Imitation Leather Shoes. The BS10 is a rather rare bird these days. I probably paid too much for it, but I'm happy with it.

I love my Rotory Phaser! One thing I can say about it is that it's not the best for Bass when you are sustaining lower notes. What happens is the bottom end gets louder and softer when it is phasing so it sounds like you are changing volume. Although this migh be inherent in all phasers. In the upper registers though it is great and then when you kick in the bass drive the sound is freakin' amazing!

I know its a pretty bad pic, and has a pretty bad yellow tint, but you get the idea. Also the patch leads and board will be sorted withing a few month along with the EHX Nano Stone, MXR Smart gate and possibly the Zvex Box of rocks?

How do you like the Ashdown effects? How do they compare to EBS? BOSS?
