No one could not make the same argument with different or original, because you can degrees of them, but not of uniqueness as is the nature of the word.

And no need to get all high sprung I just made friendly correction, I did not mean for it to be an attack, would you say that ^^^ to a teacher in school if they corrected your use of the word unique?

I've heard a similar argument about pregnancy - no one can be "a little pregnant". Anyone who has lived with a pregnant woman knows that the level of pregnancy certainly can vary. I give you an example...8-months into the pregnancy of my last child, my moody wife demanded at 11pm that I run out and get her some Doritos. When I returned with her request, she no longer wanted them and was in tears about being so demanding. That, my friends, is "VERY pregnant".

What this has to do with the topic at hand, I don't know. I just felt like telling a story :)

Ummm, yeah... I'd make the same argument. Not a spectacular source for prescriptive grammar (I'm too lazy to look elsewhere), but look at Link Removed and then the usage notes below. It seems to depends on who you're asking, making it a matter of opinion, and thus not exactly a definative point to be worried about on an online forum. I wasn't trying to get all high sprung, just saying that the intentions were conveyed clearly so it didn't really matter to me if it was "correct" or not. I'm not one to be picky about people that don't worry about using perfect grammar or spelling. If its a point you want to argue further, lets not derail this thread further... pm me or start an OT thread?

Man all Thom did was copy mine and put it on a nicer board with a better power supply. :hiding:

mine is Ibanez SR400 bass > Boss NS2 noise suppressor > NS2 send > Digitech Bass Synth Wah > Boss LMB3 limiter/compressor > Boss GEB7 > NS2 Return > NS2 output > Digitech Whammy IV > Dry output on Whammy IV into Ibanez PD7 > -15 db input on my ampeg BA112 and I'm just using my Ibanez PD7 as a booster, not for distortion tho sometimes i'll turn its distortion on, into my -15 db input to make it as loud as the 0 db input > Back at the Whammy IV it is wet output > Boss CEB3 bass chorus > 0 db input on my Ampeg BA112

This way I can have 2 signals into my amp. One wet, one clean

I know. Thom and I are best friends and I was just busting his nuggets. Difference between Thom and I is he has a girlfriend and I have a wife...LOL.

The $5000 I spent on gear last year was too much according to the wife. So 2007 project is to clean up the board. :D

However I understand the concept of his board but I (personally) do not like pedals in that back unless they are always on or off. :hmm:
