The big board...

Nice board Justin... I mean vegas.

The big board...

Very cool board indeed...... what exactly is the signal path?

Maybe somebody who owns one can answer this question....

What's up with the foxx fuzz/wah in terms of the switch on top?
From what I understand it activates the fuzz portion but the angle in all photos I've seen makes it look incredibly difficult to step on.

Do you find this to be true?

i dunno too much about them but i know that the morley PWB has a switch on top that turns the lightbulb on, thats what this one might be also...

First off, the cables are custom cut Mogami with what are, indeed, Switchcraft ends.
As for the Foxx, it is a switch to activate the Fuzz and it's not difficult to access at all. I also had Mike Peira at Analogman modify the Foxx to remove the Volume feature (this did make the pedal annoying) and add a Green LED to indicate that the Wah is on.
Signal Path is as follows:

Bass->VTX trem->Bass Whammy(dry to amp A)->LS-1(Rat + EQ in loop A and always on)->GT-2->CE-5->BF-2->DD-3->BR-2->Tonebender TC->Foxx Fuzz/Wah->Out to amp B

Yes, it is based on "the Tool sound" and it is my "for the hell of it" board...I take a smaller, less complicated board to gigs.
Unless anyone wants to do a Tool tribute band in SoCal...

:bassist: :D

Cool setup!

What amps are you using with this board?

The Tonebender has a very unique sound to it, sorta like having a layer of buzz on top of your tone. It has a very cutting quality to the fuzz, but you have to be careful how you set the EQ on it (this is the downside)...it can be a severe tone sucker on the treblier side of the range. I was debating on checking into the DeMarco Bassbender to see how it compares because of this.

I am sorry my friend but u cannot have degrees of uniqueness something is either unique or it isnt, like a light switch, nothing can be very on. I think the word you are looking for is original or different.

soz rant over.

Could one not make the same argument about different or original? And why does the light switch argument apply in this case; why is it that there can't be varying degrees of uniqueness just as there could be with different or original? We understood the point, why debate how it was made... I'd rather someone "misuse" a descriptive word in an understandable way than throw shorthand forms of three letter words into their correction.
