Yes, the Strobostomp is a possibility I have not yet tried. I know it is true bypass, so that should maintain signal integrity. I do wish that they looked less like a spaceship, though.

Rack tuner. As I rarely use a rack, that would be an awkward route for me to take.

I am very happy with the TU-15. I've owned many, many tuners over the years and I think this is one of the better compact tuners available. Needle tuners have a sort of "compressed" visual response to how they read notes that makes intonating easier for me. I've used old-school strobes (conn, petersen) and honestly prefer a good needle (double-entendre?). For some reason Boss doesn't make a case for it like the other similiar shaped tuners, which would have been nice.

I also like the esoteric nature of the Renz mute. I've used it on every session I've ever done & almost every live gig since I got it. It's become kinda like a friend to me!

Wow. Actually my fly board isn't designed to fit into the "mothership". That is a brilliant idea however & will be my next project!
Rantic has just come up with a genious new board design concept. Let's go into business dude!

Seriously, I think it could be huge in the pro community. I know lots of guitarists here in nashville that would love the idea.

It is an aluminum structure, welded by a friend of mine, that holds the V-Bass and the GR-20 and the little GKP-4. This sits in a case custom made by Invalid Link Removed.
I did it like this because I'm doing many gigs and small tours with this gospel choir, and they have a crew and a big truck for their equipment, and this way I can leave my stuff with them without having to fear for its well being.
It's rather heavy though.

I have two cranetortoise pedals; The DD-1B Dual Distortion (Bass Edition) and the SW-1B Switching Distortion (Also Bass Edition - Think crazy tremolo and/or distortion in one pedal)

I picked them both up from the Ishibashi U-Box.

Hey, the very first bass bit you hear is just the comptortion, then clean signal, then comptortion on the choruses, then back and forth until right at the end where its comptortion and DD-1B

the bass was recorded with 2 mics, a condenser and an SM58.

that rig is sooooooooooooooooo cool. i want to get that exact thing + 3 more pedals, and use that as my sounds that get sent to my Pedalboard.

That comptortion sounds sort of like a RAT IMO. Less crunch, but more definition and low end.
