Just got my LPB-1 from DanT. Gonna play around with it when I get the chance. I even got a BONEKRUSHING sticker, so that reason alone is going to be my case to join the club
I'm still deciding, though I have a pretty good idea. The reason the pedals aren't connected it that I just put them on the board to take a picture. In reality I'm still experimenting with different arrangements of the signal chain.
Originally I thought I'd put the OC-2, fuzz & Moog (with Mod Box) all in the loop as kind of a one stop synth shop. But I found I liked the OC-2 better outside of the loop. So now I'm leaning toward just the fuzz & Moog, though the Heliotrope may end up in there too.
Re: The Rusty Box, it is spectacular, if you like an aggressive biting sound. I have amazing toanboaners whenever I play it. I set it so that it's just "pushed" or compressed when I have the boost off, and grinding with the boost on. The clip I linked above mostly has the boost on. Anyway, I find that it can do any level of light OD to heavy distortion depending on the gain and boost settings, and I like all of the gain levels. However, it can't really do subtle, or smooth tones. It's always pretty agressive and biting, even without much noticeable clipping. The EQ is powerful, but I don't find that I need much adjustment from it. So anyway, I like.

I must say I'm surprised that no one has asked about why there are 7 switches on my PDS 20/20.

The microsynth can do a lot, but a moog lpf, fuzz and oc2 together can do quite a few things that the microsynth cant-- and in a drum n bass, dub, and/or dubstep environment, I'd say you would get more mileage out of a moog lpf+oc2+fuzz than you would a bms.
Dont forget the Fuzz on the Morley wah and the OctavusI kinda guessed what with the supercollider, 'stache and TBD

I used my g*****ist vintage space echo before and it is awesome, way too many features for me though.

What kind'a tape cartridge are you using in that echo, where is your source if you have one?
I have a old Univox a lot like that but the only tape cartridge I can find is in the UK and over £30
I found a guy on the bay that was sellin the tapes. They were real cheap cause he was gettin rid of all the ones he had. I ended up buying all of em (around 4). I had to mod them a little but they all work fine now.
Its just an Octavus built by Fuzzrocious (just an Octavia clone). I use it in the loop of the TBD to drive the Small Stone.

Exactly. Especially when you add in the LFO Mod Box that Mario just finished for me - for getting autowah or "wobble" sounds. I dig the BMS a lot (I just got in in a trade) and I think I'll find a lot of uses for it, but the OC-2/fuzz/LPF/LFO setup has a lot more control.
Plus, I'm still experimenting, but there's no reason I can't run all of that THROUGH the BMS with the (sub octave off) for additional weirdness.
And I'll take the bait, why DOES your PDS 20/20 have 7 switches speak_onion?
Oh, I get that BMS can't do what those others can do. See my old boards for componentized synth action to tha max with modulation routings that can wobble out hardcore. I figured you could leave the first three pedals componentized to do the complex stuff, and then have BMS do the "i need to step on one thing and get from clean to synth" thing. I don't have any idea what you want to do, I'm just throwing it out there.
PDS has lots of bends and mods so that it can do lots of different stuff.
The top stomp switch engages bends on the input buffer. There are two of these, a fuzzy/ringmody/octavey bend, which is my main fuzz sound, and an incoherent sub-note bend. I wouldn't call it suboctave, because it's not always an octave below your note, it's just related and lower and squarewavey. The topmost toggle switches between these two. These are independent of the delay section.
The lower stomp switch turns the modulation on and off.
The three toggles on the left engage various bends on the delay section. The left one does a nice bitcrush, the right one does tremolo or ringmod depending on the delay time, and the middle one does a weird thing that I can't figure out how to describe. It makes the repeats sound weird. These toggles are operative only when the delay is engaged.
The toggle below the topmost toggle mutes the delay signal, which results in some cool stuff with the delay-bends engaged.
And finally there's an expression pedal jack for the delay time.

Not really, I guess. Delay before dirt? It's not really just a delay anymore though. I've pared down a lot from what I used to use. I think I posted a monster board in Part IV or so, and my giant rack thing in Part VII. Now, I just have 2 pedals that do a ton of stuff. Different band, though, so I need different things.

Very nice....how do you like the T.C. Electronic? Been thinking about one for myself.
