Hehe, good observation about the 19 circles.

Unfortunately, the effects forum is closer to the 19th circle of financial hell than it is the flower of life... or maybe thats just the duality of the effects forum- through the 19th circle of financial time-wasting hell leads the path to plethora of beautiful tones, that blossom.. like a... flower.... ok im done.

I'm not sure how many sacred geometry nerds are out there that would get it either.

Some (definitely not all) Tool fans might understand though.

I have a question. In my new band, we will be recording ASAP. Would it be a smart investment to get a DI of some sort? Im saving for a tuner, so no brainer there.

You can pick up a cheap DI and a tuner for the price of a BDDI. May be a wash for recording if the DI is noisy. You could possibly use the DI off the back of your MB2-500 as well. Not sure it it will hurt the amp without cabs hooked up.

I know the fat sandwich has the brightest blue light I've seen on a pedal and matches the blue on my GBE1200, a green and yellow on the TFD and the headrush does different things depending on the mode. Hopefully the hyperion has a UV light in it or something.

You'll find that most higher end/boutique pedals and modded pedals have ultrabright LEDs in them. Just as bright as the on/off switch on my MB2-500.

Jordasch, you can use the sansamp as a DI - it has a line level output selector for the 1/4" out if I remember correctly, and maybe an actual XLR output too.

A DI from a head takes the signal from the bass and thats it. Theres usually a switch that will run the signal through the heads preamp or not. A solid state head can be turned on and used as a DI (assuming it has one) without damaging it. I've done that with the GK MB2-500 and a GK 1001 RB-II personally.

Pm'd ya,..but I think coolrunner989 may have answered our question,...concerning damaging the head. That is of course for the Amps Subforum though.

I'd like to get a PT mini for the one band that I'm in that I don't use FX in. Something to hold my LMB-3, TU-2, Submarine and a small power supply.

Nad, or Chronicle, could I get one of you guys to take a picture of the Nocto Loco's guts? Im trying to identify the 4558 IC on the top right corner of this link-- they show the layout and all of the parts, except for that IC which is blurred out.
