Nad, or Chronicle, could I get one of you guys to take a picture of the Nocto Loco's guts? Im trying to identify the 4558 IC on the top right corner of this link-- they show the layout and all of the parts, except for that IC which is blurred out.

A friend is going to teach me to solder and help me build one of these, hopefully from scratch, but I can't figure out what that last part is. If either of you could (come in on saturday) help, that would be grreaaatt, thanks!

So I ditched the Zoom and the A/B switcher, although I'm thinking of using it backwards to run two basses through the same rig.

Bad Monkey is on loan from a friend and unmodded, but still sounds pretty good to my ear.

The Delay is gone because I only have 5 slots in the Daisy chain, and no spare batteries.

So if I look at this right, you have your EQ on the end just in front of the limiter? That's interesting, I put my EQ in the first spot on my chain.

How does this work out, and why did you make that chain choice, are you trying to unsquash your sound from a previous pedal?

I really love the echobox, but the lack of tap tempo stops me. I'm dead set on having tap tempo. Isn't malekko supposed to be bringing out an analog tap tempo delay athat does self-oscillation, like, yesterday?

And I do believe the promethes may take the cake. Though I'd want one without the smell lines.

As for a looper I've been looking at the Headrush - people say they're easy to operate. You have a preference for the Digitech or Boss for some reason?

Delay -> Empress Superdelay, hands down

Filter - funky or spacey? Either the Funk-a-duck or the 00Funk

Looper -> No personal experience on this one. I've heard a lot of people sing the praises of the looper on the DL-4, and that would cover your delay too. It is a big mother, though

That would be the Malekko 919 delay. Won't be coming out for another 6 months.
