Yeah, about the crocs. I thought they were a silly fad and stayed the hell away from them. Then the wife got a pair..the pink ones you see in the pic. They are like walking on clouds from the heavens!! I wore hers so much she bought me a brown pair....but they were knockoffsand not nearly as comfy. I'm secure enough in my masculinity to keep on truckin in the pinkies....when she's not wearin'em. It's funny what happens to a man when he's fully domesticated. I get what Bill Hicks said about turning into a goober like his father. But yeah my old man makes fun of the pink crocs too.

To Freaky...I think I would rock a pedalboard with nothing else but delay and dirt....sooooo much win!!!

From what I've found the Boss TU-2 outputs 200mA. I was first using a 1 Spot @ 1A and the RV-3 was not happy. I switched to the Power-All and everything has been good since. I appreciate all your time looking up the various current draws of my pedals. The board has undergone several variations to get to where it is. Current signal flow is SHO out #1>tuner SHO out#2>Compulator>POG>Bass BB>Bass IQ>FL 3>Vol>RV-3.
I'm gonna start plugging the PS in to my distro cable and power the tuner in parallel like the other pedals. Don't know why the extra 1/2 amp from the Power-All would have made a difference if the TU-2 is governing the 9v out but I can say it does; the LED on the RV-3 will barely glow with only 1A from the 1-Spot.
 
I hope the following helps others in the future. I may mod my TU-2 By adding wire jumpers between the dc in and out jacks to handle the current (I like plugging in to the TU-2)

No... it can not. Let's put that issue firmly to rest. The TU-2 (and the other Boss pedals with power output) has a link output that will let you daisy-chain from it, rather than straight from the adapter. A forumite at the Harmony Central Effects forum (where I hang out too much) coined the term "power thru jack", and that's just what it is. But it's still the adapter that does the powering... The only difference is that you plug the adapter cable into the TU-2 rather than into a female cable connector, and then you need a special daisy chain cable (as the link output on the pedal is the same type as the input). I've found that often when people have ground loop problems, they disappear when the TU-2 is removed either from the signal chain or the power chain. As it usually sits at the front of the effects chain (where the signal is most vulnerable to picking up hum), to me it seems like a daft idea to pass signal as well as all the power through it...

But if you do use it this way, please note that Boss only guarantees this connection for up to 200 mA, including whatever current the pedal itself draws - no matter what your adapter can deliver. This is because even though the power input and output jacks are simply wired in parallel, the connection between them is made through thin copper traces on a small circuit board. Running large amounts of current through there can cause the traces to overheat and lift from the board... So, be advised that 200mA (including the 35mA the TU-2 itself uses) is an actual physical limit for this type of jack - it is not just (as I've at times claimed) a way for Boss to make you buy their 200mA PSA adapter. If you plan on using the "power thru" jack, make sure the current draw doesn't exceed 200mA or so. Or just get a regular daisy-chain cable (like the one pictured earlier) and add the TU-2 to it like you would any other pedal.
 
The Boss TU-2 only pumps out 100ma. did you mod it or?

I know Im prolly late for this, but Im pretty sure the TU-2s power output is just pass thru. Basically, that means that if you power it with the old PSA's you're total consuption should not exceed 200mA. If its one of the newer (slimmer) PSAs, then the value would be 500mA. With a 1spot or PowerAll, 1500mA. I know that there is a sticker on mine, that IIRC says "don't exceed 200mA" but im pretty sure thats a throwback from the old PSA days.

Either way, if he's truely starving the POG, it just wouldn't work at all IME.

One way to find out if its just pass thru would be to power it thru the out jack, right? Im pretty sure I did one time, and might test out just to be sure.

The last 2 lights on the strip are amber(orange) and red. They look simmilar in the pic, but IRL and from a little bit of an angle, they look quite different.
 
Another thing I noticed is when there is a 9v battery inside the tuner and I disconnect the wall wart the battery in the tuner does power the entire board. I can only imagine that it would drain in minutes but I think it's funny seeing everything running off the single 9v.
