Pretty happy with it. Although I may have to look into the Memory Boy Deluxe when it hits shelves around here.

I'm quite happy with using the ME-50B alongside the stomp boxes. Prefer the individual pedals for ODs and such (as you can probably tell) but the boss multi is good for other things. I use the expression pedal for the volume and 'hold' functions, and sometimes the kick drum for a laugh. The delays aren't bad, and there's a really nice combined chorus/reverb. The synths aren't really up to much, but they're not really my thing. I sometimes use the 'hollow' and fretless effects as 'step-on' EQ settings/changes. The other obvious and helpful uses are for tuning, stereo output if you want and the noise reduction dial on the back. There should be less noise once I get a true bybass loop router on the board. I'll stick pics up once I've built it.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I'm right on board with you as far as the ME-50b effects. That's what I have and pretty much use it for the same settings. I'm getting a HOG this weekend, curious to see how they'll interact. Also, I've been looking into buffers and boosts. Would it make any sense to put a buffer before a Multi?

ME-50b +Hog+Hog controller might mean getting a bigger board.

nothing new on my pedal board yet. I have a few things coming in. but i wanted to show how I mounted 2 PP+2 on PT-2. this is the old model that didn't have the holes in the front. but the mounts fit on it fine. new pedals coming in Lovepedal Baby face Tremelo and Little Big muff.

I'm really not so sure I want to expand too much more. Like I said, I'd like to have a nice delay, and MAYBE a vibrato/tremolo for some of the jazzier/experimental stuff I have in mind. I remember playing through my old guitarist's EHX Wiggler tube-vib/trem and loving it. A little noisy, but it was nice.

There's a good video by ehx on explaining the pedal. Look that up. For guitars it's sort of like making your humbuckerbsouning like a single coil and a strat sound like a tele. But for me it helps add more bite to my pickups, and just overall tone.

maybe it might help you with your problem. I play my bass pretty up there on the the mids and highs so I'm always heard.

And if all else fails. Just crank up your amp. But be prepared for dirty looks from your band & sound guy.

I'd definitely agree with ItsMichaelYeah - it adds so much more definition to my overall tone. Changed my sound completely, couldn't play without it now I'd defo look into one, well try it out anyway if you're lacking some zing in your sound.


Here's a pic of my board anyway. I thought I'd be able to keep just these 4, but I've got a Danelectro Cool Cat Drive coming in (not the fanciest of pedals, but I heard clips and thought it sounded fantastic for the price, anyway) and I'm also eyeing up a Digitech BSW.

I had all three. I vastly prefered the single Germanium. The Si was too harsh and I just plain did not like the Double Germ with the freq mod.
