I'm really enjoying this board even though there isn't much on there. I have no doubt that this will have changed within a week haha :p.

My CEB-3 is currently getting worked on by the guys at Roland.

I've got an fx25b that I'm going to try with that opto stomp in hopes of less volume drop. Either that or i'll be in the market for a new envelope filter. The paradriver + opto = happy jim.

Up until yesterday, I was keeping a Sansamp BDDI in the top left simply as a DI and "amp backup" in case of emergencies (using the parallel out to the amp in the meantime) ... not something I need to keep on a board.

I think the real estate is much better used for the EHX Memory Toy added yesterday, and the Diamond Boost-EQ I added today. I'm hoping this will relieve the gas for a week or so ... have to spend more time with it before I can claim 100% satisfaction, but I think this may be it.

Just finished putting together my board for my covers gig that I got going right now. Still a couple more needs (tremolo and comp), but I still have plenty of room for them. Figured I might as well post this now. Also want to rewire it at some point, though I don't know if I'm going to go George L's again. Almost half of the patches I made either stopped working altogether, or are now cutting in an out whenever I touch them. Might start soldering my own patches rather than going with the solderless.

This is my latest set-up, as tested last weekend. I'll wire it up properly in the next few days before a show on Friday night.

The signal path is:

- Loop A: Deep Impact
- Loop B: OC-2 > Brown Dog > AF-9 > MF101

The tuner is after the LS-2. There are two filters after the fuzz so I can choose either a dark and wet (Moog) filter or bright (Maxon) filter.

I played around with the set-up below too, but I don't want to go back to a big, heavy board just yet.

I didn't have time for a description before, so here we go:

Jazz bass (American '08 w/ Audere pre, HipShot drop D)
>Tuner
>Punch Factory (always on)
>LS-2 for effect loop (Whammy>MXR octave>XXL>Wah>Ring Mod, switched on with 2nd LS-2>Phaser>DD-3>Trem)
>DM-4 for delay and looping (in trailing delay mode)
>BassVT (always on)

Having most of the pedals in a loop with the big green monster (DM4) after is great- I can have a bunch of crazy noise going on and then switch it off with the LS-2 and then swith the DM-4 off and let it trail off.

I love looping and the DM-4 is great for this (one of the reasons I use a 2nd delay). At home my looping is done with the big RC-20XL- its a great tool for getting your ideas down fast, like a sonic notebook of sorts.

One more thing I wanted to share- Whammy set to octave up into MXR BOD (Girth all the way up, Dry at Noon) into the XXL with the Warp completly clockwise, is awsome! My new favorite pedal combo. Add a bit of ringmod with LFO set to a medium-paced, square-wave back and forth for some nice telephone robot voices.
