sturmvogel informs me it's Burgundyglo. I'm a bit red/green colorblind, so I'll take his word!

Still gets gigged regularly. We did a show at the Galaxy in Santa Ana, CA and a guy who works at Ric making necks happened to be there. He was very impressed with the conversion.

Pringlw, that's a sweet 4001. You said it's a 1980. What color is that? Autumnglo? A few years ago ('05 or '06???) I had a Montezuma Brown 4003. The MB was the color of the year for 2 years in a row (due to the high demand the first year). Anyway, your 4001 looks a lot like that Montezuma Brown, which in my opinion, is one of the best-ever colors Ric ever offered.

This is my April 73 Burgundyglo 4001. It was stolen 2 years ago. Serial # MD1582. A reward will be given upon it return to anyone assisting the police.

Thornton, a few years back, I used to lurk on the Ric forum. I used to lust over that Burgundyglo bass of yours every time I saw it. I didn't know it was stolen. I'm very sorry to hear that, and I hope you're able to get it back someday. Thieves suck. :scowl:
