Mate where did you get your 2008 from? Imported to Oz?Here's my 2 babies.
One is a 78 and the other is a 2008.
One is a Ric and the other is a Greco.
Some of you will be able to tell, but you won't tell if you heard them. No lies!
They sound awesome through my LMII and EA NM-410 - soon to be 2 x NM-410's.

The 2008 Ric is (and always will be) a rare beast in OZ.
I'm not sure how Rickenbacker Australasia stays in business but its not by selling Rics and parts thats fer sure. I tried to get a toaster pup for my 4001 through them and they were out of stock "for the forseeable future". No-one in the US could help me out either- they weren't allowed to sell to Australia so I had to organize a USA address and get it shipped on.![]()
