Post your RockBass pics.

Since RockBasses are basically snubbed by the Warwick Club, post your RockBasses here and get some appreciation. I know RockBasses to Warwick are the equivalent to Squier to Fender and Epiphone to Gibson but a little respect please. At least we're moving in the right direction.

'08 Streamer Standard, nice upgrade from an SX jazz 5string.:bassist:

I never said anything about being snobby. Maybe a little hoity toity.

You say Potato, I say Potato...Actually most Warwick guys are pretty cool. But having a "Real Warwick" does give you a sense of "Arrival".

And a RockBass is considerably better than a Squier or an EpiPhone. The build Quality of the Early Chinese RockBass is actually really good. The setup was questionable, but the components and electronics were always Quality Stuff! Having a RockBass on your Strap is nothing to be ashamed of.

You guys are probably gunna laugh at me about this, but I own 2 rockbasses (corvette 4 and streamer 4), a 'vette 4 and used to own a thumb BO 5. I hated the feel of the thumb, yet the sound was great...preferred it to my german 'vette 4 string. Funnily enough, I can get the same sound (or at least very damn close) out of my rockbass streamer. Sold the BO, still have the rockbasses and rarely play the german 'vette now :)

They might be cheaper, but that doesnt mean they are inferior!!

Cheers,
Jordan

So I guess RockBass owners are too ashamed to admit they play RockBasses?
I have two, but play neither.

Shame doesn't enter into it. They're just not "me." You know. :hmm:

Got 'em dirt cheap, will flip them eventually, in the meantime they're in storage.

They're excellent examples, but I've seen some breathtakingly, head-shakingly terrible ones, too.

If I'd dropped real money on a real Warwick, then I'd be ashamed. ;)
