Post your self made Multi-Track overdubed recordings

Here's me messing around with a dean 10 string bass. 4 tracks, 1 a drum machine, 2 a p-bass, 3 a 10 string bass with the octave strings tuned a 5th instead of an octaves, and track 4 the same 10 string bass.

There are no guitars or keyboards.

Excellent. Never thought I would hear a song about cutting
your kitty's balls off but "It's the right thing to do" Funny LMAO.

Stew,

Couldn't find any versions of my windsurfer kook song on this computer, but it's kind of like a more punk version of the YouTube clip in your original post, which I dug a lot.

Lots of other cool stuff getting posted in this thread too. I tend to do mostly live one take stuff, or at least live bass/drums or guit/drums rhythm tracks, so it's always nice to hear other approaches.

i play all the instruments and do all the recording/editing/mixing at my home…i just put out the third full-length album from my main project where only the bass parts are composed; all the other instruments are improvised in one take..

i really like the last three songs in particular..

enjoy..

Our entire LP (^ my avatar is the cover ^) was done in my modest home studio.
I play the basses, guitars and keyboards/synths. Jim plays the drums. Dave wrote the lyrics and sang them.
We call our stuff "the Twilight Zone set to music". It's kinda out there and somewhat experimental.

Cool Drums. Nice happy sound. Makes me want to party.
Thanks. I come from Jamaican roots and most of my songwriting tend to fall in this style or Latin/Caribbean styles in general. But I still loves my funk! Here's another one. Unfinished demo in a jazz fusion style.

I was a member here years ago under the name "bassbones", but could not resurrect the screen name due to old email being dead. I recommend "Moby" if your a rock guy. "FunQ" if your a funk guy. And the radio edit of "we 3 kings" if your still in the holiday mood….and for the short attention span try "god rest…."
Everything there is just me and a drummer friend of mine, except for "FunQ" which I used a drum loop and two guitars and an electric piano.
I used an Ibanez BTB 6 string bass hooked up to a Roland Vbass processor, a Godin acoustibass fretless, a fretted jazz bass, and a squier bronco with guitar strings on it for piccolo bass. The older tracks have other basses on them….everything is pretty much a goof except "we 3…" was a project for an upcoming Xmas album.
Thanks for listening!!!!!!

everything on those was recorded with an old Korg D1600….I have since moved to iOS gear….but the free time has not arrived yet. The older tracks (pygmy hog…etc) were done with a boss BR something or other and an old bondi blue iMac…….its amazing I got anything done with that stuff!!!
