Posting Photos [image uploader on Android]

Paul, unsure whether you can help, or not, but here goes...

Just started having problems posting photos. When I select, 'Upload file', it goes straight to 'documents' folder on my Android based phone, giving me 'file not supported' error, when I select photo (.jpg)...

Before, I would select, 'Upload file', and an interim window would appear, listing files supported... is this the actual problem, or a side symptom?

Thanks!

Last night I upgraded the forum software to use html5 for the attachment uploader (instead of the old Flash-based uploader). That's odd that it says .jpg is unsupported. A screenshot would be helpful, but you obviously can't upload it to post... Can you email a screenshot to me? [email protected]

Unfortunately I don't have an android device in front of me to troubleshoot. I'll do some research, and maybe others can chime in as well.

Paul, tried a different browser... Looks like it's working, now. Will update Firefox 50.0.2 and see if that corrects it. Talk to you, soon.

Come to think of it, I updated Firefox, then opened it (from the PlayStore), successfully uploading the pic, realizing that the browser that was open was not the one I was having problems with. I think the default browser that came with the HTC DroidDNA is the one I'm having problems with, Paul, so you can go back to playing the bass. I will look into an update for the default browser, or just not use it at all... even better, get rid of a 5 year old phone, and update it! We'll see ya'! Thanks!

Awesome, glad Firefox is working for you. If you have a minute, are you running Android 4.4.2? I think that's the last Android update that will run on your phone... The developer is just curious for future reference. Thanks!

Android 4.4.2... Yes, that's what my phone is currently running. Self contained battery, running out of memory... Whaddya expect? I only paid $25 for it... Lol! Let me know if you need any other info... otherwise, I will check the other browser for updates. See ya', Paul!
