power handling

i really dont know anything about amps.

so i just needed to know if i could put a 450w head on a cab with a power handling of 200w.

Sure!
Just turn it down about halfway, and don't ram too much signal at the input.

Blown speakers! Actually you can usually drive speakers with a little more power than you need, but just be careful when you're really slamming on the strings. The big speaker pops are where there's usually damage done. Just use caution and you'll be fine. The speakers will tell you when it's too much
