That’s clever. The hole is not intended as a pass through for power. It's for a LED light.

You are assuming he knows up to wire the other end of that power-con. It's only 120 V AC with a 15 Amp breaker to worry about
Not necessarily. Due diligence is required to avoid a potential catastrophe. You are assuming he knows up to wire the other end of that power-con.
So I’m finally assembling my first pedalboard and already have a dilemma. The Rockboard (Duo 2.2) has a power cord hole in the side but it’s made for a small barrel-style power cable, not the beefy type that comes with the Cioks DC7, neither end of which will fit through the hole. Are there slimmer-plug power cables out there or any kind of adapter I can use? I know I can just run the power cord under the edge of the pedalboard like a basic savage, but out the side would be great if possible.View attachment 7460220
Well, if you end up drilling or enlarging a hole, all you need is a Step Drill Bit from Harbor Freight. less than $20 for a 2 pack that will cover just about any hole size you need up to 1.4 inches. After that, it would be easy to source a rubber grommet to fit.So I’m finally assembling my first pedalboard and already have a dilemma. There is still the matter of forgetting the power-con cord . Unless you are in a big stage gig where this is mostly used and where they MAY lend you a spare., chances of getting one in that moment is NIL All it really fulfills in fitting something in that hole. My Bergantino powered cab uses this and I have a spare zip tied to its handle, just in case. Only really make sense for powered PA speakers suspended in a tower array. Not necessarily. Due diligence is required to avoid a potential catastrophe.

The side hole is 20mm (.79 in) per Warwick.Just a hair larger than 1” wide. I have extras if you want one. Computer monitor cord etc and yer up and running. Happy to send one or 2 to you if you want one. Silent practice setup always on the shelf with one cord, gig ready cord always in the other part of the suitcase I used for my pedalboard. Pm me if you want a couple of these.

AWESOME! I assume you had to drill out the hole wider to fit that?Panel mount IEC cable to DC7
The hole is at the other end of the board. I drilled a hole and used a jigsaw to cut the square for the panel mount.AWESOME! I assume you had to drill out the hole wider to fit that?
