Powering my board (Rusty Box content)

at least try the Rusty Box after the drives but before the time effects... because of what it does expanding the fidelity of the drives, of course if the drive colors the RB nicely, whatever works, but usually I had a hotter output from the RB and putting that into a drive might eliminate subtle use cause the line's too hot (and the rent's too high).

Thy was how I had it before. So we will see how I like it at the start of the chain.

I have a Pedaltrain w/ a PP2+ mounted underneath and fully take advantage of the plug for the wall wart to power my Rusty Box. I use one of those grey plug adapters to get the wart to actually reach the plug:

Also, slightly off topic but any reason why you’re not running your Rusty last in line? Just curious. I’ve always had mine last or second to last.
I prefer to place the Rusty earlier as well. It kills the fatness of the Muff and is generally harsh being fed the high frequencies from dirt placed before it.

I always put mine early in the chain when I still had it too, even though it does seem counterintuitive for a high-headroom preamp pedal. I usually had a DG pedal/pre at the end. Can’t remember why I preferred it that way but I know I tried all the possibilities and the Rusty was best last

I know it's not a solution for current Rusty Box owners, but just wanted to pass along that the Spring 2019 batch is now powered by a standard negative center 9V power supply. I just received mine and have to say that I think I got pretty close to replicating it while waiting for my pre-order by running the Dr. J Sparrow (cheap sansamp clone) into a 10 band eq cutting 250hz and boosting 2khz as suggested on a related thread.
