I just stepped up to a GK MB200 head and a Carvin BR210 4 ohm cabinet. Nice little rig.

By the way, Carvin is blowing out the older "Rat fur" BR cabs on ebay for $199.00

I'm using Behringer Xenyx 502 mixer and hi end headphones that cover your ears. Quite good quality and very portable, you can always carry it in your bag. And it's only $50 if you already own some good headphones
