Read the OP, part of the problems was driving 45 minutes in the pouring rain. A tarp doesn't not solve that problem.
So he cancels work if it's pouring? He wouldn't drive to a gig if it was pouring?
I guess what is really under scrutiny here is the importance that some people put on rehearsal. Most put utmost importance on it, others, not so much it seems.
OP seems quite quiet in his own thread. Maybe he was hoping for lots of high fives for his decision. LOL! Not.
EDIT: It's raining pretty heavy right now here in Toronto. We have band practice starting at 3 PM which is about an hour from now. Am I going to schlep all my gear into the car for the half hour drive? Hells yes 'cause it's what needs to be done.
