I have been wanting a stingray forever...I am a generally broke college student. Today i get on craigslist and find a guy selling 2 near new stingrays for 500 each. Theres a guy going over to check them out before me, I am worried he isnt just looking for a personal bass but to buy both and flip them....send good vibes for my stingray!!

(sorry for the weird incoherent post, i quit smoking 2 days ago after 11 years)

Congratulations on the smoking ... a tip to help the quit stick ... tell yourself you're not allowed another cigarette until you've saved enough by not smoking to pay for the bass. (I did that with a $400 bottle of scotch, and that was enough to get me through the first couple of months).

Im in college at nearly 24 due to being strung out for several years after high school.
Been clean over 3 years, now then only vice I had left is gone..

I'm praying for you dude, for the Ray & smoking. I quit somking almost 7 years ago. I started when I was 14 & and smoked a pack a day for 15 years. It's not easy, but hang in there.

I think I'll start a thread and share with you guys how I was able to lay them down. No gum, no patches, no pills...just a common sense approach. Anybody interested?

How much money will you save in one year of not smoking?

How many brand new Stringrays can you buy with the money you will save?

I quit smoking when they went to .35cents per pack. I was smoking 3-4 packs a day.
