Pre-Amp Pick!

Looking at buying the Victor Wooten Emg Pup set and dislike the price of the pre amp.

Any recommendations on a pre amp that would give me some versatility? thanks

also a 3 band would be ideal, I've heard good things about bartolini as well.

Perhaps the mike pope preamp that comes in the wooten combo is the way to go..

It's what comes in the VW standard. A good bet.

The Mike Pope has nothing but rave reviews, and my brief experience with them has me agreeing.

However, if you're looking for something cheaper, the Aguilar OBP-3 and EMG BQC system (or whatever the 3-band is called) are both quite versatile.
