Pre-amps with Bergantino IP's

I've been using a PJB Bass Buddy lately-- haven't tried it in front of an IP112, but I bet it would be killer.

I bet that sounds great. The [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] should be available shortly, as well. I can't wait to try one of those (and yes, I have pre-ordered mine :D).

I'm interested in the P-1 in an isoteric sort of way (just in case I win the lottery).

Interested to see how much warmth it has and how much dimensionality -- more like a Glock BAC preamp (warmth) or more like a more versatile version of the Millennia TD-1 (uber clarity).

Wow. That P-1 looks terrific. I tend to get into trouble, however, when I get that many controls in front of me. I'm almost more turned on by the simplicity of the line driver . . .

Still, in the right hands (i.e. not mine), I bet it would be an incredible choice.

Not mine either!

If the BB is any indicator the P-1 should sound great. I pretty much leave the eq flat. Love the comp on this thing.

It's a warm, almost tube-like sound to my ear, unlike my Avalon U5 which is all clarity. I was searching for something for use with the U5 to add that dimension to my tone, and the BB works like a charm.

The xlr out works good but I'm still using the U5 as a DI-- it's just too good to give up!
