Here's my 62 P
IT was stripped and refinished in natural at some point, and there's an ugly mudbucker route under the pickguard, but I love it.

There's something really satisfying about taking the neck off and seeing that date stamp!

And relief of course!

It's like seeing an ancient wall painting or lost treasure, quite special indeed... I honestly felt humbled seeing into the instrument's past, very nostalgic.
I have to say even more satisfying (well, almost) was that the neck went back exactly as it was, that was my biggest fear... I was also stunned that the truss wasn't stuck or too difficult to move. Cheers !
