It won’t play that way after the fret job. It will be different.
I have a G&L L1000 whose body has been restored. New bridge, chromed control plate that was that “black vinyl.” Stained and nitro clear coated, the body is now just beautiful. I wouldn’t let my luthier touch that maple neck. It has those Derek and the Dominos wear spots and the frets are nearly flat. Though some don’t like this phrase, it plays like buttah.
