I'm looking at this Douglas 5-string. Anyone replace the pre in this thing? I'm wondering what preamp would fit/work. Thanks.

Preamp for Douglas WPB-955T 5-string?

I can't help you, but just so you have a response, I have a fretless WPB955, and I really like the tone with flats, it's very organic. I'm sure there are better pre's, but this is not one I plan on replacing. But what I want out of my fretless is significantly different from what I want from my fretted basses.
At any rate, I think the WPB955 is a good value, enjoy it if you get one.
