Precision bass through Eden WT800?

i think its a pretty good metal solution although some kind of active setup would probably serve you a little better, try a precision and a precision deluxe if you can...and when you go to the music store bring your head with you..its not against the law, ive done it plenty of times, i also bring in my main bass to try amps. all else fails add an EH Big Muff to the mix

Why don't you call the music store and ask if you can bring your rig in to demo some of their basses? Just say that you're really interested in buying a bass from them, but you want to make sure your purchase fulfills your needs.

It's a reasonable request, and they can handle 30 minutes of loud demo-ing if it means a sale, right?

EDIT: I have an MIA Fender P Deluxe, and it's amazing, so I'm sure it'd sound good regardless, but for your own tastes, you should try it out on your own since you're the master of your own perceptions.

what's better about a precision deluxe?

its an active Precision bass with a double stacked jazz pickup. they are booming and very aggressive. definitely check em out. ive seen em used for everything from aggressive metal to soul. its just got a ton of sund buried inside and the active electronics would sound real nice on an eden . ive always liked eden paired with active and ampeg wth passive. heres some research info.
