Precision home-relic job: Overdone? (AVRI content)

Bought an AVRI 58 but decided I missed that generic distressing from my Road Worn, so I decided
to rectify the situation myself.

I began by trying to emulate the "cigarette smoldered too long in headstock" burn... Only I'm afraid
I overdid it. I attached a photo for... comments?

(and I guess I devalued the guitar? oops!)

The only thing that would affect resale value would be if you used imported fire rather than genuine USA fire.

One can never go too far with adding MOJO!!!

I'd now take some duct tape and wrap it around in a couple spots because who doesn't love duct tape?

Yesssssssss............ I envision flatwounds. And I prefer a beautiful, thick, rich super gloss clearcoat for the "Arrested Decay" look.

You should hit it with a coat of clear tint from Reranch to preserve the relicing.
