Precision PLUS Bass

I found someone selling a "P-Bass Plus", but it comes with no pickguard and it only has two black painted buttons (no switch and that little button). I believe it still uses the Schaller fine-tuner bridge and Lace Sensor P/J pickups.
Is it still the same or different type of bass?

AFAIK they were a late 80's version. Still great basses IMO. I'm not gonna be able to enlighten U as much as MANY on here, but If I remember right- they were a li'l lighter, & I thought if it had P/J pups, then it'd have 2 rotary controls-vol & tone & probly a pup selector switch. I dunno anything re 'buttons' sorry.
