It's funny that all three major carriers have already been called both the best and the worst in this thread, and we're only 21 posts into it.

Personally, I don't like USPS. Their tracking technology is at least 10 years behind the other carriers, and their employees are uniformly lazy and rude. I'm indifferent between Fedex and UPS; never had any serious problems with either.

UPS can break anything, and then they don't honor the insurance. I would rather walk across the continent carrying a bowling ball with my teeth than ship by UPS ever again.

Don't get me started. UPS are one a very select band of companies that have sent me into paroxysms of rage on more than one occasion. I wouldn't trust a UPS driver to reliably deliver a fart after a curry.

I have had uniformly good results from UPS and FedEx. USPS has lost instruments for me. They really are that bad.

Everyone has had bad experiences with any shipper. I've had particularly bad luck with US Post Office which seems to be getting worse, although they are generally cheaper than UPS or Fedex.
