Pretty nice ESP. but the price????

$4K for an ESP?

They're "worth" whatever a buyer will pay.

As others have said, it's a special run of a high-end instrument. The price is pretty much in line with what others in the run sell for. The electronics are tetsuya's custom line, not found in the regular Bardics.

And $4k for an ESP Japan instrument is no joke. They are fantastic basses. That's why I look for used. :)

These posts are not supposed to be about debating the price of an instrument. If you like it for the price, then buy it. If you don't like the price, then don't buy it.

ESP, Fodera...OK, neither one seems quite worth the entry price. I have enoughbasses that I really like already. But maybe someone with 5 grand burning a hole in his pocket really wants a purple ESP. If so, 2 people will be happy.
