Joe Nerve said:WHAT THE HELL IS THIS GUY TALKING ABOUT?!??!! WHY DID BP PRINT THIS AD?!!!?
Plus the people that control the content aren't the same ones that handle the ads they run.edfriedland said:What is he talking about? beats me. Why did they print it? Do you know how much it costs to run a 3 page ad? Giving that it was bass related, I don't think any bass magazine could have resisted the temptation to print that.
This I find hard to believe. Note how ads conveniently run on the same pages for the gear being mentioned in the player profile on those pages. There is so much quid pro quo going on, it's ridiculous.lemur821 said:Plus the people that control the content aren't the same ones that handle the ads they run.
Yeah, we're about 10 years behind everyone else. But we're catching up... I think?Bruce Lindfield said:I don't think it made it to the UK yet...or New Zealand!!![]()
I think we should all chip in and pass it around like we did the WishBass! ;-)Sean Baumann said:I wonder how many people will pony up for this, and I wonder how long until you can get it off bittorrent.
Mike Dimin said:Rex Hull's ad doesn't once state what his methods are or give any examples. The ad is 2 pages of hype.
One more thing, the ad states that they only made 117 copies at $104.00 each - how much do you thin that ad cost them?

$104 x 117 = $12,168
A 3 page ad in BP is something like $7000 or so (taken from a friend who advertises in BP).
BP goes out world wide. I think he may sell them all. And be sitting on 5K for pissing us all off!!!! And for doing what exactly?!??!
Now, why someone would buy it is a different story!!!![]()
