Double Bass Problem with a Luthier (Roland/Emanuel Wilfer content)

it's not me sir, not only I have made comments about this whole situation.

There are more people with the same situation, but I cannot speak about what happens to them, only from my personal experience.

As I said here, I would be delighted if the thread was erased since someone is helping me with this situation, but as I mentioned earlier, this space gives people a voice (it has given it to me and thanks to this space I have found people who have reached out to me) and also this forum and thread is a means by which we can inform our colleagues of situations like these, if you want to think that I want to destroy Wilfer, you have every right to do so, I just I want for what I have paid since 2017, but that does not give you the right to ask that they censure me, today it is me, tomorrow it could be you who is in a similar situation. If this situation clears up I will be more than happy to apologize to Roland publicly.

As a rule, Talkbass does not delete threads such as these. Instead, we allow both parties to tell their side of the story. If the OP reports that he receives his bass safely, we will be happy to let him report his successful resolution and then close it.

Do you think I would talk about this for years just to annoy someone like Roland if it wasn't because I really have been waiting for 3 years? Believe me I have more important things on my way, this has only been a stone in it, what they say is surreal, but you can believe what you want, in the end I just hope that this whole situation is solved, I am really mentally exhausted from all this situation

A few hours ago I asked to delete this thread, but now I do not want it to be deleted, I will be happy to delete it when I receive my bass and can upload a photo and thank Roland and his entire team, for now although someone is helping me and I think that everything will be solved soon, But for now I cannot say that everything was solved, only that everything is on the best path since today because I received an email from Wilfer, I will wait, I will wait patiently.

i think the same....

i am in direct contact with the guy from Costa Rica now and help him and it looks really positive now and we also found the reason what’s going on.....

If you ask me I think the same to close the thread now it is not good for everybody and is not helpful for everyone.

I have rejected multiple requests this week to delete or close this thread. It will remain open. It can fade away into searchable archives or the OP and directly involved parties can continue to update it to a conclusion. I think it may be wise if people without first hand knowledge of the case abstain from opining, but there are no rules against it as long as everyone stays respectful.

Anyone posting about having direct knowledge or involvement should probably come clean about who they are and how exactly they are involved. Also no rule requiring them to, but certainly it would allow anyone reading this thread to make a better informed decision about the facts.

The thread remains open. You can keep reporting it, I'm going to keep declining it unless something happens to materially change my mind.

Thanks Troy. I am convinced that these people have a legitimate beef, and it is good that there is a forum where they can share it. If the object of these complaints has something to say in his defense, he is perfectly welcome to do it, right?

If you ask me it’s look that it is closed soon and everyone makes small and big mistakes and we are only humans. And I am think (perhaps only my opinion) to close this hear after it is closed and then we look positive in the future during these crazy times. It is not helpful for anyone to spend to much time about this.....

The way you write is pretty similar to the way Roland writes in e-mails, almost identical actually. Isn’t it fortuitous that you started commenting at the exact same time as I reached out to you (Roland) to notify you of this issue?

I’m not sure there is any excuse to ignore a paying customer for three years - it’s criminal.

I agree with you totally that this way is not ok but I know this website longer but I never wrote her. I will just help....because I bought over a year ago a bass and I can’t believe this. You can contact me directly at my self phone number and or my direct email but I am Tom and nobody else....

And I delete my last post because I have to agree with you but I will just help someone
