Problem with Acoustic B200

I recently got an Acoustic B200 and I'm having some major problems with it. I have an Ibanez SDGR with active pickups (which seem to be the culprit). When I first plugged it up and started playing it sounded great. After a couple minutes of playing it start sounding a little fuzzy, then the volume went down out of nowhere and now it sounds like garbage. I later found out it was the cable I was using, because I tried others and they did the exact same thing, even a Monster Cable.

This really sucks and I was wondering what I need to do because this amp keeps eating my cables.

The amp has an active input plug-in
I've also tried another bass with passive pickups that works just fine with all of my cables.

I don't know much at all about this stuff so I'd really appreciate your help

Maybe your pups are faulty?

well the thing is it works fine with all the cables right at first and then slowly gets worse.
It's relatively new as well

uhhhh, change the battery(s) in your bass

Try changing the battery in your bass. Even if it's new, sometimes you get a bad one.

It sounds like a dead/dying battery. I doubt your cables are getting eaten by the amp.

+1 to all above. Amps don't eat cables, dead batteries eat speakers.
