Problem with asdown t15-250s

Hi,

I'm having a problem with my amp. After, about 20 minutes of playing the sound goes low, crack's down. If I leave it resting switched off, I could hold on 20 more minutes.
The room that I practice was very warm when it happened. I putted a fan near it to help the cooling, but with no success.
Did this happen to anyone also?
I've send it a mail to ashdown, but the will get back to me at tuesday. And I have a band contest this next saturday. So I'm bit preoccupied with my back line.

It's in the warranty, but I don't have the time to send it to Thomann and wait for it.

Does the fan come on, or never comes on?

If the fan never comes on, and the room is hot, an external fan is probably not enough. An external fan is low pressure, wide spread, and far from the heat source, but the internal fan is high pressure, narrow spread, and close to the heat source. Also the internal fan is blocking the external fan's air flow.

If you don't want to use the warranty, you could go inside the amp and check to see the fan is plugged in where it should be. Make sure all connections and wires inside the amp are secure. If the fan still doesn't work, you could remove it, which would allow an external fan better access to the heat sink. Then, build a venturi out of cardboard and tape, which will funnel (concentrate) the external fan's output directly to the heat sink. (I do this for laptops whose fans have gone bad. It lets me keep them running long enough to pull the data off the hard drive.)

Thank's. I'll go check. It must be broken, or unplugged. cuz this started to happen after a gig. probably with the car's ride and the manual transportation, set it off. I can't be sure cuz it wasn't me who carried it most of the times. so I don't know if they were careful.
