Hi. When I plug my active Stingray bass into the active jack, I get sound for a while and then it shuts off completely. I hope it is the amp and not the bass. Any idea what is going on? I have only had the amp (bought it brand new) for less than a year. Granted, it's just a 30 watter practice amp but I expect it to work! Thanks.

Thank you. I called your Long Island headquarters this morning and was referred to an authorized service (repair) station in Springfield, VA. I did not receive your message until afterward.
Does this sound like an amp problem?
Actually, the sound doesn't go completely off when plugged into the active jack but goes from normal amp volume to very faint volume after a few minutes and then stays faint.
Really, there's no reason to use the "active" or padded input, even with an active bass. If the "normal" input works, you're good to go.
