I don't know why but whenever i turn on my Univox Bass Amp It takes like 20 mins before my bass is amplified. Is something wrong with it?

Yes, solid-state amps should start producing sound immediately, and tube amps should sometime within one minute of powering on.
If you want more info on your amps specific problem, you'd probably get better results including your amps model number and posting in this forums amp section...
