FYI, I'm definitely going to try the G and D unwound thing with the Superflexibles. I got the Superflexible A in but have not installed it yet. I'm still trying to figure out whether to go with the Larson or the Dlugolecki G and D and what gauge. My experience with the Chorda D was not good but it was on a much less resonant bass.
