Hi! I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of thing would i get if i wanted to loop my bass . Like if any of you have seen victor wooten live at bass day 98' when he plays something and it just repeats as he plays something else with it. (sorry if i sound stupid) what is that called and where could i find something like it.

Check in the effects subforum, and search on the words
"looper", "looping", etc. Also, Google for a different forum called "Looper's Delight".

But I think Digitech makes one that you can put a memory card in. Seems like a cool idea. Also, Boss just made a new looping pedal board, but I haven't heard anything about it.

I use a Boss loop station, but not often. Neat units, though.

I find it's good for writing. I haven't used mine live, but I've written so many new tunes since I got it. It's also good for practicing soloing. I just play a short bass line, then solo over top of it.
