Production Godin bass SD5

Good evening at all!
Sorry my english written.
I am a Diego and I write from Italy; It has been bass for about 20 years.
I have in my hands a 5-string bass Godin SD5 and I need some help:
I know the godin group bass is produced in Canada (Richmond) and assembled in USA .... does anyone know where the USA is?
Still: The serial number is 00493241; I have a lot of difficulty knowing the year of production.
Can someone help me?

Well, I found more info here: Invalid Link Removed If I am doing this right, it looks like your serial number was made on July 11th 2001.

Dating Godin Guitars by serial number

” Here’s how you can decode our serial numbers :
first 2 digits : production year, 3rd and 4th digits : production week, 5th digit : production day (1=Monday, 2=Tuesday, etc…), last 3 digits : weekly production rank. Our production year begins on August 1st.
As an example, a guitar with serial number 06053168 was built in September 2005, on a Wednesday, and it was the 168th guitar built during that production week.

If your guitar’s serial number has 7 digits, the guitar was built in the 90’s and only the 1st digit indicates the production year.

Yup, some of their electric instruments go through final assembly in Berlin NH, about three hours north of me. It's close to the Canadian border, which may be why they picked it. It was a paper mill town till the mills shut down a few years ago (stank to high heaven!), so they're probably getting skilled labor cheap up there.
