Steve, it's 15 years later, did you ever find a great instructor in Phoenix?
I'm looking to get schooled on theory, jazz, fretboard knowledge, etc.

Functional theory, technique, fretboard mastery. I'm 56 yo with a demanding career, so I don't know if it's doable, but I would love to become a professional quality jazz bassist. I'm a long way away as a completely ear-trained bassist who took decades off from playing and gigging regularly in the 80's, early 90's and early 2000's.
