How have I never heard of this band; they’ve been going for 35 years? Lots of new albums for me to explore. Thanks.
It’s been bugging me that I was sure Id forgotten a band for this list.
Airbag. Great band from Norway. Still going and just released a new album. Think, ‘Floyd crossed with Radiohead. Great guitar work. Not one of these bands that like to shred, much more melodic. Enjoy:

I was listening to this album today, David Sancious And Tone co-produced by Eddie Offord.
Jonas is so underrated, he's one of my favourite bassists. Love him with the Flower Kings and more recently, The Sea Within.
Speaking of Swedish bands, I'd hope they have been mentioned but Pain of Salvation is a must listen for any prog-metal fan, especially their early work. Kris Gildenlow plays some great fretless bass parts.
I only know him from touring with Steve Hackett. I’ll have to look into these bands.
The Sea Within is a supergroup, more on the prog pop kind of sound. Check out the flower kings for some great bass playing. One of my favourite tunes of theirs is called the truth will set you free. If you want an album to check out, start with Adam and Eve.
